What we do not collect
The labs are built so there is nothing to collect.
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- No cookies and no ads.
- No trackers and no analytics scripts. Fonts and page code are served from our own sites.
- The only outside code is Python or R, downloaded from a public code library when you press Run on a code example.
- Your progress is saved only in your own browser. Clearing it clears everything.
- The careers lab reads your resume inside your browser. Only skill names and years leave the page, and nothing is stored.
- Live data, such as the space station's position, is fetched by our server, so those services never see you.
Cloudflare, which hosts the sites, sees each request, including your IP address, so it can deliver the page and block attacks. We add no logging of our own.
